More About My Instruments

The lever harp is another monument to the grace of God. I believe He often plants a desire in our hearts and then gives us the privilege of asking and receiving! This instrument, made by the Bruners of Heartland Harps, was *given* to me on indefinite loan by a gentleman who drove down from New Jersey to deliver it in person. It has 32 strings with sharping levers (that I havent tackled /yet!/), but there's some beautiful music in there! Click on "Links" to visit one of my favorite harpists.

I've also "fiddled" with the fiddle, but ended up returning it to the lady that gave it to me. Her nephew expressed an interest in it, and I was all in favor of keeping it in the family. I also acquired a "Pono" tenor ukulele in Hawaii (that extra piece of luggage was a real challenge in the airports!), but I am reminded why I never really gravitated to fretted instruments...
