| I have a passion for teaching! It is a very exciting thing to see a student "get it," whether it is a musical technique or a scriptural principle. I welcome the opportunity to share my experience and knowledge with any willing student, and those opportunities generally fall into two categories: music and ministry.

| The folk instruments I play are very "user friendly," and are especially good at "unlocking" the musician that is inside of just about everyone. What used to be our living room is now a "music studio" where I have the joy of watching students of various ages make musical progress. Lesson time is "student led," with songs of the student's choice. Life is just too short to play music you don't like! I play primarily by ear and urge my students to do likewise. | I also welcome the opportunity to share and teach music with groups. I occasionally host a Gospel Jam at my home and offer workshops and group lessons there on request. I have also presented workshops and performed at various autoharp and dulcimer festivals, including the Mountain Laurel Autoharp Gathering (Newport, PA), Chestnut Ridge Dulcimer Festival (Greensburg, PA), the Buckeye Dulcimer Festival (Ashley, OH), the Dulci-More Dulcimer Festival (Lisbon, OH), and the California Autoharp Gathering (Dunlap, CA). | I especially enjoy the privilege of speaking and playing for ladies' retreats and meetings. Scripture is relevant for today's woman, and I welcome the opportunity to encourage ladies of all ages. I have had the privilege of speaking at the Biblical Family Ministries (BFM) Annual Ladies' Conference (Lebanon, PA), the Tri-State Bible Conference Annual Ladies' Retreat (Montague, NJ), and numerous fundamental, Bible-believing churches along the east coast.
